Descriptive Text : Amazon Rainforest

Amazon Rainforest (also known as Amazon Jungle) is the largest forest (especially rainforest) in the world. This rainforest covers most of the Amazon Basin of South America. This basin encompasses seven million square kilometers (1.7 billion acres), of which five and a half million square kilometers (1.4 billion acres) are covered by the rainforest. This forest mostly located in Brazil, Peru, Colombia, and a minor amounts in Venezuela, Ecuador, Bolivia, Guyana, Suriname and French Guiana.
Amazon Rainforest has the biggest biodiversity on the land. It seems that this forest is the perfect place for tropical plants and animal.This forest is home to about 2.5 million insect species, tens of thousands of plants, and some 2,000 birds and mammals. To date, at least 40,000 plant species, 2,200 fishes, 1,294 birds, 427 mammals, 428 amphibians, and 378 reptiles, some famous animal in this forest are, Blue Macaw, Gold Macaw, and Umbrella Cockatoo.
Beside that, this forest passed by Amazon river, the widest river in the world. Which has Piranha as the damgerous predator in river biodiversity. The temperature in Amazon Rainforest is about 23oC until 27 oC. In other ways, Amazon Rainforest is the 1st important oxygen supplier in the world.
